This came from the FAQ on the Friday the 13th IMDB entry, and could have come from some press release on casting. Jason being cast from stunt men.

I think the rules of these movies state that black people can only have sex with other black people. So poor Lawrence will not only die in an early and unnecessary death, he will also not get the sex that, being a teen, he desires.
