You can become literate by eatins certain monsters (dark sages, I think), and by getting the potion of literacy (reward for the first dwarftown quest). _________________ @}-,-'- *~*~* Member of the FTU Elegant Tea Party Society *~*~* -'-,-{@ |

Oh, I could probably get to the dwarf town at level 10.
Are there two-handed swords in ADOM, because I've never seen one.
I made my barbarian proficient in two-handers, but I haven't really found a good one yet. |

Yes, there are two-handed swords. That's one reason I don't like melee classes. You can get unlucky and not find an appropriate weapon for your proficiencies. _________________ @}-,-'- *~*~* Member of the FTU Elegant Tea Party Society *~*~* -'-,-{@ |

Yes, and my character started out with a one-handed spear for some reason. |

Yeah, I seemed to be killing things super fast, so I figure I'll put some points into spears/halberds/whatever when I level up again. |

Mike, why are you studying to an air traffic controller? I mean, what made you choose that? Did it seem an exciting field or something? WAS IT YOUR DREAM? _________________

I have no idea what I want to do. ATC was just kind of something that I settled on I guess. |

I'm reading Invincible right now and it's very good! I wish the wikipedia hadn't spoiled the HUGE plot twist for me.

Is that the movie Mark Wahlberg played a bartender turned talented quarterback in? |

Isn't that the movie based on a true story? |

Why did they stop the anime version of Nodame Cantabile, Mike? I thought it was very popular, and I can't understand why they would just stop it when there is apparently plenty more story in the manga. _________________ @}-,-'- *~*~* Member of the FTU Elegant Tea Party Society *~*~* -'-,-{@ |

They are most likely going to make a second season. I read somewhere that NODAME set records for ratings or something for an anime in its time slot. |

Invincible is a comic about a young man with super powers.
I think Ace would like it a lot. |

Apparently, the live-action version was stupidly popular. |

Draw a stupid comic where one character is a turkey leg. |
