It's better to enrage slicers around a Big Daddy and let them wear him down a bit. I've also found that throwing explosive drums and tanks at him work much better than bullets.

I haven't yet defeated one without dying at least a handful of times.

I destroy every Big Daddy I see very easily with shock, armor piercing auto rounds, and electric bucks.

Sometimes I finish him off with an armor piercing pistol round or, if my balls are particularly gigantic that day, the wrench.

I have that stun upgrade and do the same thing as jason. But I do get killed at lest twice. I hate it when I forget about the little sister and she ran away during our fight. So I have to kill two Big Daddies to harvest one Little sister. Also explosive shells work like a fucking charm.

Well, I just beat it, and the less than a minute long final cut scene (presumably the only thing that would change with the "alternate endings") that leads simply and abruptly back to the main menu really exemplifies how fucking half-assed and retarded it was to offer no unlockable content. What a fucking travesty.

It's not an average, MADali.

They just rank individual things and then give it an overall score.

It's very strange that Bioshock earned a score above its gameplay and lasting appeal score, though. It's also very strange that they used such round numbers when their guide talks about decimal values.

It's funny because you know people will still talk about and play Metroid Prime 3 for years to come. Where as Bioshock won't even be remembered.

These hired video game reviewer goons have no concept of what's really a tangable video game experience. Video game reviews, are by far, are open to corruption, bias, and hype more than any other type of media.

Jason's comparison is testament to that.

It's hilarious that 20 (or maybe 40 if you play it twice) hours is enough to give it a 9. Considering they compare the other categories across genres you'd think they'd do the same here, and give it a more appropriate 2 or 3. But I guess it wouldn't be good for their advertisers if one of those big budget games doesn't get overinflated scores in all categories.
