Ok I am going to try to get this bullshit working again.

I torrented MOO2 in the form of an ISO file but thought winrar took care of ISOs automatically, at least it has before.

I guess ill mount it with dosbox but all I get is this problem where the intro starts but not the rest of the game. fuck!

Anyway if your at all in to strategy games youll probably enjoy moo2 online so help!11

Other people should play this game.

I'm not actually some fearsome opponent, because I play in the manner that I think should be min/maxing, rather than in the way that actually is min/maxing. Ie. I'm 95% pacifistic for most of the game.

I'm kind of interested but I was thinking it was a nice simple text based thing. I guess because of the other definition of MOO.

Ok i think I got it working, let me know how you want to set it up online soe veryone can play theldorrin. PRoblem is they might run in to software problems as well.

The torrent that worked I think is siimply called MasterofOrion2.torrent

It's graphical, but it's pretty simple. If you've ever played Civ, than this is like that, except the map is of a galaxy. And you only move from solar system to solar system, so the whole system is vastly simplified in that regard.

All you have to do is extract the 1.4 patch within the moo2 directory, and then run Orion2v140.exe instead of Orion2.exe to play the game.

The patch was easy to apply, quite interesting you calll it less buggy because I havee no sound now. anyway, lets just go to the next step to getting this thing working online
