Because writing a resume for someone that is actually going to employ you, and writing it for HR are also two different things.

I would use resumé if I were to use any diacritic at all, but alt + 130 is pain in the ass, and don't get me started on character map. Unless I absolutely have to have that ^2, I'm not bothering.
