Section II doesn't seem to be very relevant to the boards destruction, however, while all the others could qualify, and likely qualify for all of the boards in question (except perhaps the privacy one).

Although to be honest, I don't really care so much about most of the content lost, and it's unlikely that I'd even reread the worst human ever contest.


One thing about this mystery is how it could accidentally be my fault, or your fault, or any number of people's faults, which is a bit disconcerting.

I hope you guys won't get pissed off if it turns out that some person who was posted in a cosplay thread complained, and that the picture of that fellow was posted by Magic Juan (for example).

We will never get a specific answer from ezboard, for legal reasons, and the possibilities are far too diverse to narrow it down.

Having said that, the cosplay thread angle is good thinking though. Real good thinking!

All it would take is an image hotlink, and somebody checking their referrers, and then reading our abusive comments, and bam. Under the privacy thing, the TOS could be interpreted in such a way that any picture of any human is a privacy violation.

It would actually be poetically appropriate if our ultimate destruction came about due to the complaints of an anime faggot.
