Unfortunately, I didn't have Auto-Potion nor could I make Ramza a ninja, so I just turned him into an Arch Angel and teleported around the area, shooting arrows at him.

When he turned into a monster, I used Grand Cross to turn his goons into frogs or stone or whatever.

Yeah, the boss at the beginning of Breath of Fire 2 is supposed to kick your ass. You fight him again at the end and he gives you the option of fighting him without your other party members, but I don't think you get anything for doing so.

I'm pretty suprised other people here have played Thousand Arms.

Lunar 1 was gay as fuck. I don't see how anyone outside of cosplay.com could stand those Disney song moments and all the bad jokes the translators' put in throughout the whole thing.

I played and really tried to like Thousand Arms but it was pretty hard. Also, dating game segments that don't end in rape are the worst.

My mom played through and beat Star Ocean 2, but she liked games like Rhapsody too so I never touched it.

I really like the first Suikoden but I could never beat that FUCKING DRAGON in that cave before you get to build your own castle. I ended up using a gameshark and lost interest pretty soon after.

I liked Chrono Cross, but I never made a serious attempt to finish it ever.

I still own all these games except Thousand Arms, are any of them rare and expensive yet?

Apparently Suikoden 2 is incredibly rare, I imagine Star Ocean 2 and Rhapsody are too, and I've never seen a physical copy of Thousand Arms other than the one I own.

If you fight the boss on your own he doesn't use certain attacks or he's slightly easier (although fighting him with one character really means he isn't). It's really only viable if you maxed Ryu's stats with cooking items.

Suikoden 1 and 2 (you should really play both) are probably the best rpgs on Playstation. I know they rereleased a combined version of the two games on PSP with some additional story moments, but it unfortunately will never make it to the states because Japs are fucking faggots.

With the PSN they could always re-release these games just like VC and make millions of dollars because people like me would buy games they've alreayd purchased at least three other times prior.

The prices for the games I listed vary wildly on ebay, but Chrono Cross is the only one that's virtually worthless.

When did FFVII become worth like $100 anyway? I thought they printed a billion copies of that.

Since Jason isn't using this thread anymore, I'll use it to talk about the games I'm playing.

I decided that I really, really hate myself so I'm starting up Xenogears. Originally, I spent about 70 hours and almost got to the end (and I was fighting this a pasty, white version of the TURTLE FIEND named Deus) and kept losing. Then, for no reason, my memory card deleted itself.

NOW I'M DOING IT ALL OVER AGAIN and I'm about an hour in and I remember nothing whatsoever about the plot except that it was created by a bunch of guys who wished Evangelion's story would just go on forever.

So far I've had to INPUT CHEAT CODES in this monstrously gay cheating system for the emulator (it took three different programs to input one code) because the GAME MESSAGE SPEED in unacceptable. I know fully well why the game is 80 fucking hours now. Anyway, aside from that, the game is pretty fun except the camera is horrible and you have no idea where you're going in some areas and there's about a random encounter every five seconds.

It's really awesome seeing all those cheap, mid-90's anime scenes.

Also, I was playing Tactics but eh, I guess I'll pick it up again later (and then never when I get Mario Strikers Charged).
