Ok here is my take on the move:

Not bad. There were a couple major flaws, such as mclaine jumping of a jet plane and surviving, as well as making that asian women impervious to everything except explosives.

THat and having her be an experienced high-endurance martial artist even though she worked for the FBI and had no accent.


That aside, this was a typical action movie, albeit one quite bone-chilling in the beginning when it wasn't too unrealistic. It chilled me becuase it made me think the government was after me (the name of the main character is matthew), and because it made a possible splitner cell reference (a car belongs to Dvorak, the name of the computer in Chaos THeory)

I didnt think it was as good as "die hard with a vengeance", but admittedy I couldn't get in the first 2 so this opinion has nothing to do with anything.

The villains aren't really terrorists. Like all Die Hard movies the villain's motives are purely financial.
