I just can't watch stuff like that, where an active sense of hate or disgust is what compels you to continue watching it. It definitely ties in to my inability to appreciate things in the vogue ironic way. A minute or two of being revolted or catastrophically underwhelmed (by shitty quality) is enough for me. Any more and I get a headache and feel weary and exhausted.

I'm sure there are a few exceptions, but the Super Sweet 16 show definitely isn't one of them.

I think part of it is the sickening reminder that such atrocious people exist, and that there are institutions (both societal and social) built up around them that support and encourage such behavior, including the network and crew that produce the shows!
