I dont know if I'll be 1-up'ed, but if you guys had seen this, I wish you had posted it, since its so good.
You should listen to this on your headphones, otherwise it wont work. Increase the volume and close your eyes.

This probably should have gotten its own thread, though.
This is neat.
They should record more things binaurally. |

Seriously, I must have better ears than most people, because you can hear THINGS LIKE THIS in anything that's recorded well, only more subtle and less "HUHUH, CHECK OUT WHAT WE'RE DOING!!!!" |

My experience with this is that it never stops buffering. |

Chris, you're trolling and everything, but you're fucking retarded. Mixing is usually done Stereophonically or Quadrophonically, and even then, it's usually confined to a left and right channel. You're not hearing shit all over your fucking head. |

Is it just a bunch of right to left channel switching to make it sound like the barber is walking in circles around you, or something?
It still won't finish buffering. |

There are mixers that add a front and back channel. It's just not as common.
If you have four channels, you can combine them to make it sound like something is anywhere. |

But the way biaural recording works is that it tricks your brain into have basically a 360 degree channel (Much like real life!) whereas the other ways of panning sound and shit don't really affect how you perceive it. |

I have now gotten this link in my email TWICE, seen it on three different message boards, and seen it here on FTU twice.
It's kind of cool, but it HAS been done before, and it doesn't deserve the excitement it's getting, is all I'm saying! |
