You might not even have anything to contribute but maybe you do. Who knows. I haven't been here in a while and I tend to forget who knows what.

I'm planning to get an apple computer. I will be using this strictly for video and graphic editing. I don't care about gaming or ANY other uses. I just want to be able to step up my art and video needs. The PC isn't doing it.

I've been looking at the macbook pro (Which I will be using as a desktop replacement and using a proper analog monitor with.

I've also been looking at the Mac Pro

I'm leaning towards the Mac pro. I mean, multi-core procs and up to 16GB RAM. Not to mention how reliable the hardware is. I mean, say what you want but the breakdown ratio of apple computers are on par with Nintendo products.

I don't see myself fagging around town with a notebook so maybe I should just forget the macbook. But with the Mac Pro I know I can d anything I want in final cut.

I would really apprciate your feedback, though.

Tablet computers are garbage, Ace. They don't have the reliability of normal notebook computers, and they're more expensive.

I thought it would be neat to be able to take non-linear notes on my computer. I'll probably buy a cheap, light laptop and a nice mead notebook.

Hmm, Lenovo has a sale going on for $420 (he he) off computers with free shipping for father's day.

Maybe I'll go with one of those.
