Hey, Chris (is right) |

My barbershop collection has been destroyed since I've moved to college and my power is very weak! I was able to save a third of of it but a lot of it is from the Napster/Kazaa days, where the quality is all over the place.
Anyways, the point is since you're the only good source of free Barbershop music I know, I humbly request that you put your collection up on one of those free file upload places.
I don't know how massive your stash is, but Megaupload has a file size limit of 500MB and doesn't require you to sign up (I'm trying to make this as easy as possible, you see).
This probably won't happen, but it doesn't hurt to try.
Here is a peace offering:

I actually have very little barbershop.
I have the Dapper Dans album and a dozen or so loose tracks.
When I listen to barbershop I mostly use the barbershop Internet radio station on Winamp. |

I guess I have to go get Winamp now. This outcome is at least better than I expected. |

It's somewhat repetitive, but they have a decent mix.
How the hell is anyone not using Winamp! |

I've been using this program that came with my Creative MP3 player since it can smoothly transition from one song on a playlist to the next which is a pretty nice feature when you're listening to something that's divided up into movements. Most players still have a half second pause in between songs even when you reduce the interval to 0. |

I think there are plugins that fix that with most major players. |

About half of my classical stuff is from live performances, so there is always applause in between movements because the audience consists of uneducated boors. |

Yeah, that gets annoying pretty quickly since there could be up to 10 movements in an hour.
Also, I have a few CDs that are meant to be played as one continuous piece, so it's good for that too. |

Oh, oh! I can't stand that second between my movements.
Why don't go whip your hair and sigh.
Fag! |

I'm actually safe, because I don't listen to entire pieces, but instead listen only to individual movements. |

I really hate how Itunes fades songs in and out at the end because sometimes it cuts off good shit. Fuck Itunes.
Even though you guys didn't mention it at all. |

I don't use Itunes because it insists on running in the background, always, even if you aren't listening to music and are instead running something that needs all of your CPU and memory resources.
It also runs some Ipod crap even when you don't have an Ipod. |

Amadeus Mozart would have appreciated my sense of humor. |

I'd be surprised if you knew anything about him that you didn't learn from Amadeus. |
