Man, I can't be honest about any of the SHIT that I do with my life without ALDP acting like it's something I should feel ashamed about. Mr. High and Mighty with his Al Gore books and his Jethro Tull! |

I'm finishing Johnny Got His Gun and after that I will probably finish the other books I had for my WWI class that I didn't finish.
After that I plan to read a bunch of short stories to prepare me for my upcoming creative writing class.
And then it's probably back to alternate history books! _________________ Said the Captain PUNisher. |

I read like a chapter of this book The Global Mind that was supposed to be a rebuttal or something of The Selfish Gene and it was kind of interesting but also seemed like pseudoscientific self help book bullshit. It was pretty good literature, but my spider senses detected bullshit.
Come to think of it, some religious guy probably wrote it. The guy that showed it to me is always joining one cult or another.
In May (!!) I read Junky and Lives of the Saints (crappy New Orleans novella) and Choke, by the guy who wrote Fight Club.
Choke was pretty good, but Junky was amazing.
I've been trying to read Tropic of Cancer, but my room mates keep reading it and leaving it in places I can't find so I'm about to start Wild Boys instead until they're finished with it.
Then I'm going to read Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn and Clockwork Orange which I've never read.
I used to only read Kurt Vonnegut books, and then I became an English major and realized I couldn't do that. |
