"Maybe," Hall whispers in despair. "But how many more of us have to die?"

Before "Shogun" Brian Lanners can answer him, he is signaled by his police walkie talkie. The muffled radio voice speaks into Lanners' ear and he mutters "Uh huh... uh huh... I see... Mm." Lanners looks at Mayor Matt Hall and states "We've got something brewing in town."

9:46 AM.

The DeGaunt Family Castle actually takes up all of Parmesan Boulevard, though it is currently only home to its youngest heir, Roy, and its two dozen servants and housekeepers. It is a vast fortress of stone, fit for the monarchies of the Middle Ages. It's only entrance to the public is a great wooden door, which has been closed tightly since Roy escaped the bombing the night before.

Derek Payne is there, slamming his giant ham fists into the door. They're bloody, and splintered, and he's been at it for some time now when Lanners and the Mayor pull up in Lanners' cop car. Derek hears the sirens and turns around.

"It's him! It has to be!"

"I think so too," Hall says as he walks forward. "But you're not going to break that door down." Hall takes Derek's hands to inspect them, but Derek quickly snaps them back.

"Roy DeGaunt!" shouts Lanners, his badge outheld as he knocks, "This is Brian Lanners. You are under arrest for suspicion of Mafia terrorism, come out now or we will storm this castle!"

The eye slot of the door slides open, revealing a dark pair of sinister eyes. "The young master is not at home to guests," he hisses.

"Please!" Hall calls, "We don't want to harm any of you! We just want Roy!"

In the exchange, Derek has sneaked off, and Lanners and Hall only realize it by the sound of the cop car's ignition. They turn and dodge out of the way just in time as the car comes careening forward, driving straight into the door, obliterating it. The servant behind the door is killed and dismembered as the car skids to a stop in the grand hall of the DeGaunt Castle.

Derek steps out of the car and shouts "ROY!" and the young heir appears on the top of the red velvet stairway, the centerpiece of the grand hall.

"Come down here!"

"I think not!" Roy shouts back, then Derek runs forward. Two servants come at him from both sides and he knocks them both away as he hits the first step of the staircase. Roy unsheathes the DeGaunt Sword and runs downward to meet him.

They connect right in the center of the case. Roy dodges Derek's fist and brings his sword down, and all Derek can do is get his elbow up, the blade slicing into the bone. Derek howls in pain and drops to one knee and tackles Roy, laying him against the steps. Mounting him, Derek begins yelling all the usual shit about his brother and the town and that Roy is a terrorist and shit and starts throwing those punches that killed Muhammad Ali-Jazeera and Zhou Win Chi. But as he does so, Roy is slowly raising his arms behind Derek and lifting the sword up. Hall and Lanners on the floor shout for Derek to look behind him, and he does so, just in time to get out of the way of a death blow. But as Derek moves, the sword travels down, and ends up piercing Roy's own chest!

Everyone gasps as Derek continues, through momentum, to travel up the stairs, then stops himself and looks back, as Roy stands with the DeGaunt Sword in his chest and roars in anger. Derek's eyes widen in fear as Roy runs up after him! They trade punches, but Derek gets the better of him and Roy turns around and begins to swordfight using his torso. Derek tries to escape the blade's swipes, but he's really slow. Drops of Roy's blood are getting everywhere as Derek is pushed further and further back up the stairs, until he and Roy stand at the top of the grand staircase of the DeGaunt Family Castle.

"How is this possible!" Derek yells, desperately avoiding shots from the sword.

"Behold the power of the Mafia Terrorists!" Roy shrieks, grabs the hilt of the sword sticking out of the front of his chest and yanks it out, taking with it him black heart, which now rests pierced upon the blade! Roy holds the bastard sword, heaving and gushing blood from the hole in his chest and the sword begins to glow, like the attack that sliced Vinny O'Neal in two.

"The DeGaunt family will rule Pizza Paradise! And I will be the new Mayor! Mayor Roy DeGaunt! Ahahahaha!"

The sword sweeps, leaving a red trail in its wake, and the walls of the castle shake. Derek desperately ducks, but is caught by the sweep and his left arm comes flying off at the elbow and burns to ash in the air! Derek screams in pain and horror and Roy leaps onto one of the golden banister heads at the top of the stairs and poses! He looks down at Matt Hall and Brian Lanners on the floor, pointing the DeGaunt Sword at them, decorated by his own black terrorist heart.

"You two! Tell Pizza Paradise that they will never be free! The Mafia Terrorists will have victory! I swear this... on... my family's... sword..."

And Roy gasps, and falls down, down, down to the floor of his great castle. Roy DeGaunt lands crooked and broken on the ground, the sword slides out of his hands, and the black heart on it beats one final time.

Lanners and Hall look at one another and call in the death.

Roy DeGaunt was Mafia. Day Five continues, and will conclude Saturday, June 9 at 3:00 AM EST (an extra twenty-four hours have been added to the time limit for extenuating circumstances).

The current necessary majority for lynching is five.
