Rosie O'Donnell is probably smart enough to realize that if she attempted to convey her ideas in a calm rational matter no one would give a shit. By being loud and obnoxious she gets media coverage.

I don't think she's loud or obnoxious. I mean, she's one of the hosts of the show. And it's not like she has big arguments with the guests.

I have seen The View (I have not the strength in this body to expand on this or defend it) and she is insane and makes me uncomfortable.

Rosie O'Donell wasn't fired she opted out of the remainder of her contract early. Also the producers wanted her to stay, she just wasn't very interested in doing a second year of the show.

There are plenty of intelligent conservatives. The thing is, most intelligent conservatives read the newspaper or blogs for political commentary and don't waste their time with television news. Since 9/11 most people who watch television news are imbeciles and white trash. These people would rather listen and an angry raving sociopath because he speaks to them on their level and represents the good Christian morals that a television personality should uphold.

It's sort of like how intelligent liberals don't watch a lot of television for news either, and the stupid young liberals just watch the Daily Show.
