If Calvin & Hobbes is right and a head weighs about 10 pounds, it would be like trying to dropkick a girl bowling ball! Would it be softer? I dunno, a bowling ball covered with skin and hair would still be pretty hard. Haha, a bowling ball covered with skin and hair! Picture that!

Imagine cutting off somebody's head and finding that the fantasy of goofing around with somebody's cut off head has nothing whatsoever to do with the reality.

If it landed on the base of the neck, and then your drop kick hit the chin it would probably get some good lift. That said, if you tried to toe kick it, then it would probably really fucking hurt.
