I think I'd be more tolerant of the slow pace if I didn't know that I'm going to have to wait until summer 2016 for them to get to the side quest bullshit, go through another delay, and then maybe they'll talk to someone who can help Casca in 2017. If that even ever happens, of course.

Bro, it's about the journey, not the destination.

The irregular release schedule can definitely make it hard to appreciate the scenery, but when you sit down and read it all together, the pacing is still good. I mean, without "side quest bullshit," we wouldn't have Rocine and the Qliphoth! The quality is still top notch. You just gotta fight your impatience and your awareness of human mortality.

I think I was more fine with this continuation in theory than in reality. Reading it gave me that uncanny valley revulsion. I'm afraid that no matter how much Studio Gaga improves over time, I will never be able to fully enjoy it.
