About 50% of the time I had a party of all ninja/monks since they eventually get awesome magic and ridiculous attack/defense.
Magic is so fun, though. I love the summoning spells and the like, since creating a godzylli to fight for you was pretty neat.
Wizardry 8 has much more of an emphasis on ranged attacks. |

I like how the monsters gradually get beat up and bloodied in Wizardry 8.
The diplomacy system in 7 was crazy. Sometimes if I said "Fuck you" in the Talk option, he'd say "Same to you!" and fight me. Sometimes I would somehow piss a guy off so much that I would offer to trade with him and he'd attack!
The best way to level was to murder Brother T'Shober then fight his ghost at the bridge. |

I wish Wizardry 8 had an equivalent to the Hall of Gorrors.
All they had was that big area near the end, where if you were luck you'd get some powerful enemies that spawned.
The first time I beat the game I don't think I got any good spawns, and it really pissed me off.

I never fought Brother T'Shober because you could get free healing and magic restoration from Father Rulae, and killing Brother T'Shober makes the Munk hostile. |

I liked fighting those vegetable trees that walked and talked and stole souls. |

I played this for a bit today, and it seemed awesome! Its like a FTS game (which I love) combined with RPG games, without the fagginess.
Although, it does annoy me that it has the ability to change the difficulty level any time you want. I really hate that. I dont ever touch it, but knowing that its there, ruins the game for me. |

Arcanum's big problems are the level cap and balance (magic is way better than technology which is kind of retarded) which both have been fixed in some decent player mods. It's also a little slow going in the beginning, but it's pretty good once it does get going. |

Inventory system and management, you complete quests for rewards and reputation. I honestly think they could've done more personally. |

Im bored of this game.
I've tried a few new games, after I recently got a 3d card, but they all bored me.
I think I'm just going to check www.the-underdogs.info to see if I can find anything interesting. |

Whenever i go to that site, every game seems like the best game ever mad.e Like, I was just reading the review for Wasteland, and I feel like playing that again, even though it will be really, really outdated. But it sounds so good! |

That games sounds like it's realtime. Realtime games cannot be RPGs. |

I'm not sure what you're asking, but if this is what it appears to be, then it's just an action game.
I'm downloading the gameplay video to check. |
