I've been seeing the trailers and noticing that when Chris Pratt says "depends what kind of dinosaur they cooked up in that lab" or rides a dirt bike with velociraptors that it seemed pretty stupid out of context. Then I watched the movie and found out I was completely fuckin' right and those scenes and all the scenes are dumb as hell!

Except the dinosaur brawl at the end which is amazing. After seeing the tyrannosaurus fight the evil dinosaur I think I understand Japanese people's complicated feelings toward Godzilla.

You people! Also, the divorce subplot and the line "we need more teeth" are two of the dumbest things I've ever seen in a movie.

Anyway, how 'bout that Shenmue I guess???

Chris Pratt's character was the archetypical arrogant alpha male shonen anime dude a la Kittan, and as such most of his dialogue was over the top and hard to take seriously, but come on, this movie was fucking awesome. If you can't enjoy Jurassic World for what it is then I pity your joyless logician STEM brain.

The little kid was supposed to be autistic, right?
