Hey, Black Sabbath! I can discuss that.
I finally forced myself to suffer through the post Ozzy albums. Mob Rules is amazing and I find myself listening to it four or five times a week. Half of Heaven and Hell is decent. Everything else is not something I'll listen to again out of respect for myself. At least I understand why Spamdini had that Dio avatar for so long. He's pretty great. |

I just saw Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. If you like Sabbath and throwback, vesty metal, oh man. They put up a sick show too. |

Fuzz is also a great band to listen to if you like Sabbath. Ty Segall is great in general! |

The Sword is another amazing band that plays a lot like Sabbath, particularly from the Master of Reality/Vol. 4 era. |

Oh my gosh! What a nice thread this turned out to be.
ALDP, I knew I could count on you to be *in* to a music talk! Ha. I do like Nick Drake. I've been playing around with different Nick Drake tunings on my guitar recently. Here's what one sounds like:

The guitar strings are tuned to BEBEBE instead of EADGBE! Weird, right? But very Drake-y.
Also, Sabbath rules. Sleep is another great classic Sabbath-y band.
Love you guys!

Seru,
I sang 'Holy Diver' and 'Heaven & Hell' at karaoke over the past year. Both were great. You should try it!

Anyone else listen to k-pop? Any recommendations? I've gotten into some of the girl groups recently but I'm looking to expand my horizons. Currently pretty into 2NE1, f(x), and of course Girls Generation. |

I listened to Run the Jewels 2 and found it OK. Maybe I'll listen to it again and see if I like it more.
Have you listened to much Kraftwerk, Mike Dunn? |

Yeah! I'm a big fan of the Trans Europe Express album. It's got a much darker atmosphere than Autobahn, especially the title track and "Showroom Dummies". |
