I just assumed this was fake and one of those "lol fake obituary" websites, because I saw "Feuilly" talking in the "Today in chat history" thread, which obviously meant this wasn't real since the obituary said he died 3 months ago. Then I went back and read that a lot of those conversations were from 2011/2013. And the last time he posted was in late September, when he casually mentioned that he was in intensive care.

Theldorrin's lung condition really fucked him up so badly. He looks so different from his high school photos up until what I am guessing are the most recent ones. Also, the fact that he couldn't get a lung transplant means that he was probably a victim of Canada's DEATH PANELS.

This is brutal as fuck. Theldorrin found out what it feels like to die.

My girlfriend's mom has a lung condition and needed a double transplant. My girlfriend is at risk for the same disease. It's hard for me to think about Theldorrin or anyone needing a lung and just not getting one.

I hope it was the right decision for him, not to share it with us. It was certainly the best thing for us.

Theldorrin, I wanted to kick your ass, but I am not glad you are dead.

I would have liked to hear what he thought about Bitcoin.

Yeah, the fact that, I'm assuming, a transplant could have saved him but he simply did not get one makes this even more sad.

It blows my mind to realize that he died a mere two weeks after his last posts here.

I really can't get over this concept of people existing and then suddenly not existing anymore. I know that death is an inherent part of life and all that, but this will never not be the most fucking weird and terrible feeling to comprehend. One of my best meatspace friends has stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and even though I know she's not going to be alive in another couple years, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be completely destroyed.
