What's up with this cultural meme of people being summoned for jury duty, and it's always a huge bummer and they try to get out of it? Am I the only one who wants to see what it's like? How do I get in on this?

Hells yeah!!!

I was on jury duty once, it was awesome, and I've wanted to be on it again ever since. It's the fucking best. You get to argue with people over what is true, analyze the micro-minutiae of situations, and come up with all sorts of THEORIES and weigh moral/situational issues. If I could be a professional juror, I would do it.

I was actually said that I had to wait at least three years.

I'm still waiting... ;_;

Whe I was 19 and decided to get my Florida ID (Lucifer was totally about it), I was asked if I was a detestable democrat or grimy republican, and I proudly told the DMV I did not plan on voting. It was one of those rare situations where I was satisfied, as the woman behind the counter had a mediocre young mom internet porn dogfood roll appearance, and responded with a double-take. Later in life as the universe was balancing out I was watching ER in a ICU and due to the overwhelming amount of expired licenses and frozen licenses in Pasco county my ID was erased, making it almost impossible for me to go to pharmacies and live a life of agonizing pain, and causing me to repeat the same long-winded stories and spewing raving manifestos
