Clearly I did not think this through very well, and I apologize. I thought based on the timing of the posts that it would be fairly obvious that it was me, especially after ALDP appeared to guess just that within about two minutes. BUT, obviously I was wrong and certainly it was in poor taste, especially if you actually believe that Theldorrin is dead. I really am sorry and I do feel genuinely bad about it.

Also, I don't really care to keep paying for the board if I'm going to just be a pariah (not that I post anyway, but I like the idea that I COULD if I wanted to). So, I mean, obviously I'm not going to just shut down the board or anything, but if anybody else wants to host it, feel free.

I don't think you meant to create some sort of cruel deception, and for a second I actually even thought "that post came ONE MINUTE after Yogurtman's, and since Yogurtman is the admin and has access to everyone's accounts.... I think that might be Yogurtman."

But then another, more emotional part of me dismissed the thought because I wanted to believe, so badly, that it was actually Theldorrin.

This whole "he's dead" thing is really just a meme, that you're all reinforcing by talking so much about it.

I mean shit, he's only been gone since November!

He's suddenly disappeared for way the fuck longer periods than that (from the board at least), and nobody ever thought that he was dead. Anybody remember any of those times where he just arbitrarily decides that some random post or thing that somebody did offended him and vanished without a word for like six months?

I was mainly furious about the timetable of events and the fact that you didn't confirm my guess in any way. I don't feel like Yogurtman needs to be ostracized but I sure was pissed off in that chat and the rest of that night. Even while I was going off I couldn't really envision in my mind a situation where I hated Yogurtman forever for this. But I was goin' crazy inside!!!

And I also have thought before about what Chris is saying. Theldorrin is literally the only person whose absence would immediately send up DEATH flags. It's true that his absence started in an unsettling way, but to the extent that he was OBLIGATED to post, it probably would have been if things looked very grim. His last interaction was that he was still at the hospital, which was ostensibly about the pace of his treatment and not about his impending full body transplant or something. The last time he disappeared for a few weeks it was because he needed to catch up on work, and presumably there would be an ever greater backlog of work after this whatever illness.

I'm pretty much a doctor so I can confirm whether he's dead or not if you give me even a tiny amount of information.

He said he was suffering from exhaustive fatigue of having had to deal with this one unbearable acquaintance... Mick or Mike or something...

He said we were all susceptible to it but his already weakened immune system put him in a more compromised position.

Boy, if I ever meet that Mick guy, though, I'll make him pay for killing my friend.

Also, Yogurtman, please don't misinterpret Matt's reckless abuse of his ops privileges that Theldorrin is unfortunately no longer around to revoke a sign that you're a pariah.
