Maybe this is why theldorrin was such an ardent Itachi fan; he was going blind and constantly taking drugs to remain alive long enough to have Sasuke kill him, as he was so horribly ill yet still so powerful (though only Itachi fanboys truly believe that he was stronger than Jiraiyaa, though they were actually working in concert), sure, he was the third most powerful akatskui member, but in his reanimated prime, with Nagato in his prime (though still highly unused to his legs), Nagato was destroying Naruto and Killer B, without the six paths of Pain, just him, and Nagato did what he could to throw the fight, still handling the fucking three of them. It is of my opinion that in his prime, Nagato with full use of his legs without the six paths of Pain has him in the same class as the top of the top, though not exactly obito (close) and of course not at Madara's level, but beyond sage mode kabuto, hermit mode Jiraiya, Sasuke, Itachi in his prime, and Minato, as his speed was so insane Naruto could not even see his hand signs, his skill and technique were pretty much on par with Itachi and Kakashi, and his chakra surpassed everybody but Naruto. Without the rinnengan obito would have trouble with him. He'd be worn to the point of being nearly donefor awhile. Of course the six paths of Pain is a downgrade in a one on one fight with equal levels, but he'd be best served as using it to west down a Kakashi/Jiraiya Naruto war of attrition, provided he was in his prime and could still have a large quantity of chakra left to wipe out what's left.

Oh my, this post really ... I'm going to Grind away in Smt 2 as I want a couple of properly equipped of those Toucketen upgraded, and trumpeter, because he is so cute :
