I thought circumcision was, like, a 9 out of 10 thing in modern society, but I'm reading more about it and apparently it isn't.

So, let me use this opportunity to discuss my circumcision.

Nowadays, all boys seem to get circumzied when they are babies. My small brother got it when he was baby, and I remember, because my father filmed the whole thing in the hospital, which was a mess of blood, tears, and baby penis.

But for me and my uncle (who is just one year older than me) was a bit different. We were kids of, I think, maybe 7 or 8 years old. And for some reason that I'm not even sure, the family decided not to take us to the hospital and rely on some sort of circumcision man. Thats the first and last time they used him, and I'm not even sure why. I've never really asked my parents. It was in my small home town in Iran, and he was some sort of traditional doctor or something.

All I remember was that he used some sort of electricity or something to do his task. I dont remember fully, but I remember electricity played a part. Maybe he smoldered it off? Or maybe he cut it and used electric power to cut of the bleeding? All I know is there was no anisthetics or painkillers or hospital bed. He just did it in the garden of our villa, infront of everything, and I remember a lot of pain, and the inability to walk comfortably for a week because whenever my penis would touch anything (such as my clothes) it would pain a lot, and also a lot of Tom & Jerry cartoons to ease the pain.

And that's the story of my penis.

I don't remember if they put it in the movie, but Henry Hill from Goodfellas got circumcised to marry a Jewess and he had to wear a diaper while his penis healed.
