I'm loving the JoJo anime so far. I thought it was awesome how they use the manga style sound effects and all the ridiculous poses/anatomy. Also, the use of Roundabout as the ending song is pretty darn rad.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Part 2 animated! Yay!

I just watched episodes 2 and 3. I can say with a fair amount of confidence that the the Jojo anime will be good.

You probably shouldn't trust my REVIEWS of sports manga too much because I have a ridiculous soft spot for THAT PARTICULAR GENRE.

Nana to Kaoru (MANGA)
Childhood friends that drift apart in high school (BUT ARE STILL SECRETLY IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER) rekindle their relationship or reconnect or WHATEVER through BDSM. I liked the characters alright and the art isn't bad, but I have absolutely zero interest in ball gags, tying women up, and slave/master relationships.

Still, maybe one of you guys might want to give this a try!
2.5/5 stars for me and probably like 3 or 4 out of 5 stars for deviants like Roy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last Inning (MANGAAAA)
Japanese version of The Mighty Ducks (guy goes to jail and is coerced into becoming a baseball coach). LOTS OF TRAINING and the protagonist is a pretty cool dude. Anime ...

Boys on the Run (MANGA)
Soul-crushingly depressing (even moreso than Saikyou Densetsu Kurosawa in my opinion) manga about a 27 year old salary man that gets farted on by life in every conceivable way (although a lot of it is his fault). I LOVED IT. Unfortunately, though, the series isn't completely translated, so it might be best to wait a while on this one.

Onani Master Kurosawa (manga)
Starts out as a parody of Death Note and then turns into Catcher in the Rye. I enjoyed it, but it was sort of difficult for me to accept that anybody would actually forgive the protagonist after all of the horrible shit that he did.

A guy comes home from a trip or something and finds that his three pet dogs have been transformed into teenage girls by his mad scientist father/grandfather/neighbor/Idon'tremember. Great stuff.

DBZ (anime)

Goku and his son are two guys who look like people but they're aliens. They fight some aliens like them and then they go to another planet to fight where some different aliens are in danger. Pretty good, it's on in the afternoon before The Simpsons reruns start. They never fight the main aliens on the new planet and the show just starts over again.
