You might want to pick it up. It adds two new levels, a new playable character, new enemies, bosses, an entirely new item category, challenge modes, and endings. They're currently porting the game out of Flash so that they can add even more expansions and possibly multiplayer.

I agree, the expansion is fun. Samson is garbage, however. I'm also making this post because I almost defeated Satan on my first try. Probably two or three hits from victory. Judas!

Well, I was riding pretty high until I attempted to fight Isaac in the Cathedral and he annihilated me without even coming out of the fetal position. Plus the Steam achievement for beating the game with Eve didn't unlock as a result. Malarkey! Now I have to attempt completing a game with ???. Which makes me Sad

Except for my victory over Satan, I feel like I haven't had very much luck lately. I had a good run with Maggie yesterday, but Satan killed the shit out of me.

If only I could abandon all responsibility and devote myself to this game full time ...

Just beat THE WOMB with ??? to get the D6 or beat Satan with Isaac and get Mom's Knife. Then the game is always on easy mode provided you stumble upon one of those. Though you're playing the vanilla version so it's already on easy mode.

I finally got Wrath of the Lamb and I'm glad I did.

I defeated Isaac on my first try, but I'm assuming he's supposed to be insanely easy.
