Yeah, it ain't cool. But I'm gonna keep going. If only to reaffirm the sobriety, weekly.

Still, people giving me their number the second I walk in there, telling me I can't do it alone, Lord's prayer at the end... People giving their sob stories, telling them that God (Higher Power, they say, but definitely the Judeo-Christian God) gave them their sponsors after they broke out of jail and whatnot, it's wicked creepy, man.

Let me know if I start talking about God so you can smack me out of getting brainwashed.

Not drinking or """drugging""" so that's good, though.

I occasionally go to AA meetings for amusement. I'm kind of surprised no one goes there for woman. You don't even have to buy them drinks.
