Fate/Extra

You're a student at an ordinary Japanese high school (haven't seen this before!) where the only weird thing going on is that you're best friends with the biggest shithead on campus. Then strange people start showing up, some of them just vanish literally into thin air while nobody but you seems to see anything unusual about it, you realize you don't even remember your own name and can't find it because all the school records are completely blank, and before you know it you get killed by some weird marionette without ever learning anything.

Then the prologue ends and the game actually starts.

There's a definate Persona feel to it, with the whole exploring the school and talking to classmates during the day, and dungeon crawling at night. Speaking of dungeons, if you ever wished there was a game with its entire combat system based around the one-on-one duels in Suikoden, well, wish granted.

Anyway, can't say too much more about it without getting spoilerish, but yeah, pretty decent!

Where you upto, Derek? i rang the second bell but now mw3 is out i dont really have time to finish it right now. Dark souls is not really pulling me in like demons souls did.

its still awesome though.

Having now played 35 hours of Skyrim since Friday (brains a bit scrambled), I'm about 3 quests into the main story, but I do own a house and have murdered about a dozen dragons.

This is a game where you can more easily slay dragons than a bear.

Also, the UI is just terrible, especially for a PC. Inexcusably so---half the time you can't even get the mouse to click on the right thing! Someone needs to mod this shit.

The problem with asian adaptations is that they are much too authentic. Everyone is too dressed up and too young to be believable.
