Yeah, both of those actors are mediocre in relatively important roles. Also, Cersei looks and acts like Lindsay Fünke, which is very distracting.

Apparently the fifth episode is when it starts to get really good.

I loved episode 3 and my only problem is that Renly is way too rugged and doesn't have long black hair.

He's supposed to look like young Robert, who was very rugged. But yeah, long black hair. That would really help with Gendry and the others too.

Most of the characters have at least two or three things wrong with their looks, actually, with the notable exceptions of Ned and Theon(who is appropriately ugly). The Stark kids are generally okay, but their characters were aged, which is terrible. Sansa especially, since she's twice as tall as Joffrey, and hasn't gone though puberty yet. Jaime looks more or less right too, but I think that's mostly just because he's very good at being Jaime.

They only really aged Daenys. Everyone else is about right.

That doesn't mean the characters age according to EARTH standards!

Daenerys and Viserys have a very blatant FLAW (where those purple eyes, bitches?) and Sansa was OFFICIALLY AGED two years. I feel bad for whichever actress they get for Brienne because not only does she have to be hideous from the outset, eventually she becomes even more hideous!

All of the Stark kids were aged at least two years, except maybe Arya. The Lannisters may have been too, but I don't think GRRM ever mentioned it.

This was a really good episode, aside from giving the Hound's story to Littlefinger. And also from deliberately showing just how awful the Hound looks like in general.
