I remember at the start of one season they made all sorts of ominous references to what he had done.

I like how the show is so unpopular that the later seasons don't even have an overall season synopsis, let alone summaries for all of the episodes on Wikipedia.

At the beginning of the summer before his senior year, Simon accidentally "killed" Paul Smith, a younger boy, in a car accident. The death was ruled accidental and Simon was not brought up on criminal charges, but he couldn't escape the pain and blame he inflicted on himself for Paul's death.

I like how killed is in quotes.

Today (when it was still April Twentieth) I was playing Suikoden IV and one of my characters hit an enemy for 420 damage. And then when I was working tonight, I had to check someone's ID for a check they were writing, and the driver's license number had the numbers 4,2,0 in it.

I bought some stuff at a gas station on the way home from a CONCERT late last night, and the the clerk said "Your total is four twenty," because it was, and everyone standing behind me in line started laughing.
