This should be about people listing their top 3 favourite threads that have been made, not the top 3 best threads that they started.

I can't even remember 3 threads that I've created.

Also, they should be FTU threads, not times where you gold harvested in some MMO or whatever that no one cares about and you were so proud of it that you made a shitty thread to very transparently boast.

The my ex-girlfriend getting fingered by a demon hand play was so funny that I was able to enjoy it despite being super bummed out about my girlfriend getting fingered.

I can barely remember making any good threads ever, but I'm very proud of my Ol' Dirty Bastard vs. Some Jobber Ace Kendo Nominated rap battle post in the Greatest Person Ever tournament.

I extremely hate pretty much everything I have ever posted on any sort of interactive communication environment (except plain, anonymous, straightforward discussion on poker boards or whatever. And I guess I'm okay in chats).

But boards/newsgroups, etc., no.

For whatever reasons, this is not a medium on which I thrive (TO PUT IT KINDLY).

I can instantly name a dozen posts and/or threads that I regret. I'd have to think hard to come up with a list of things that I'm proud of.

I think my favorite thread that I ever started was the laserkid vs. Ace Kendo battle in the Worst Person Ever tournament. Not really because of anything I posted, but the intensity of the debate made the entire contest worthwhile.

This is hard since I haven't posted anything good in at least five years. Fear and Loathing in Fagtown USA was obviously a seminal moment, but when I reread it I'm not really happy with how it turned out after the first post.

The actual most important thread I ever made was the one at DBZU where I bragged about getting banned at the Temple of Trunks. This led to Indy Nosebone, Vinny, et al trying to AVENGE me, things escalated quickly, and here we are ten years later on a board not owned by Chris Psaros.

Or would things have died down at DBZU and the regulars would have split apart once it closed?

I can't imagine it would have just gone away. People were posting 500 times in one weekend, you don't just quit something that all-consuming.

I mean, Chris shut down his site, what, six months after that? If DBZU had somehow lasted that long we probably would have migrated to Fagtown at that time.
