Star Trek 2: Khan & Crew is pretty good because it's basically Shakespeare in Space.

I don't remember the gender neutral alien episode of TNG! I certainly don't remember Riker having sex with any gender neutral aliens.

It's a shame Phil Hartman never appeared on Star Trek. He could've been, I don't know, a tall Ferengi or one of the Q.

At the end of the episode Charlie X turned into one of the omni potent beings though so he was a half something or found a way to take human form.

Did you notice that scene in Star Trek Generations when Captain Picard picks up the Kurlan naiskos and just drops it like a piece of junk?

That movie is almost as much of an abomination as that new Star Trek movie.

There's no fucking way Obama will win FL and NV. There's like to democrats to speak of anywhere here. Even the younger adults are voting for McCain. Honestly, I never even met a democrat in Florida, period.

Several of us are very upset, but we try to keep it from Theldorrin because we don't want to give him the satisfaction.

I put a code in this post so it shouldn't be visible to Theldorrin, hopefully it worked.

It's sort of funny how I'm mostly one of the nicest people on FTU to 8bO and Ace and they're especially mean to me.

Like they think they can garner status from it or something.

I liked the new star trek movie, but not as much as I thought I would.

Did anyone else find the premise behind Voyager ridiculous, while still thinking it was one of the best Star Trek series?

I guess the premise of the whole thing is ridiculous. FIRE PHOTON TORPEDOS! WARP DRIVE ENGAGED!

I don't know what 'one of the best' is supposed to mean. I mean, it was better than the original series and the animated series.

I liked it more than deep space nine and the next generation.

Boo!

DS9 is best. Then TNG. And then I guess TOS, though I haven't really watched enough of those episodes to feel confident in judging it properly. TOS has the movies, with 2, 4, and 6 being actually good movies, Star Trek or not.

Voyager and Enterprise can hide in a corner and starve to death.

More like Voyager can.

Enterprise is solid.

Most people didn't actually watch more than an episode or two of Enterprise. They just formed their opinions of the show based on the first season episodes, which you can never do with a Star Trek show.

If you did that with TNG, it would suck shit.

Watch the fourth season of Enterprise and tell me it sucks!

Enterprise is definitely better than Voyager. But Voyager still has some good episodes.

Like that one with the Think Tank!

DS9 and TNG are insanely good in comparison, however. Although TNG gets the edge in individual episodes, while DS9 has fewer bad episodes and quite possibly better quality overall (since it has no sub-rosas, etc).

I watched the DS9 premiere, and it bored me, so I never watched it again.

Except of course for Trials And Tribble-ations.

One of these days though!

You should watch the show, Chris. It's very good and it gets steadily better.

I don't doubt that.

I just haven't gotten around to it!

Not having seen DS9 makes me feel like I'm not really a Star Trek fan.

And if there's anything I crave in life, it's respect among the Star Trek community.

Yeah, you should really watch it ASAP, Christopher.

I just rewatched it a month or two ago and it was better than I remembered. Plus I got to see an episode I had never seen before.

I should get around to watching all of Enterprise and Voyager.
