That was a recent discussion over that. Older 'anniversaries' of a board that isn't FTU were generally more contentious.

Nowadays I would actually be somewhat sympathetic to the anniversary of FTU being the date of DBZU being shut down, because I can kind of see the logic there.

The thing is, it's too late now. It's like trying to change Christmas. The anniversary is September 12th and that's it, regardless of whether it makes sense.
