There is no such thing as a fatal injury in Grappler Baki. Even Speck survived his supreme motherfucking devastation.

This manga is ridiculously great. I didn't dare dream that by the end of the first chapter they would have already begun a new fight.

I believe Kato is a pretty major character in the earlier manga series!

I guess he's Krillin at this point though.

No, he was Krillin in the original series too. He usually just watched Baki fight and cheered him on while acting amazing. In the final tournament, he was defeated in the first round by a giant ape who invaded the ring.
