BOY LEAVES, GIRL IS TAKEN OFF LIFE SUPPORT, AND DIES.

but wht the boy didn't kno is that the girl only asked him those questions so she could hear him say it one last time, and she only broke up w/him because she knew she only had 3 more weeks to live, and thought it would cause him less pain and give him time to get over her before she died.

NEXT DAY

the boy is found dead with a gun in his hand..with a note in the other...
THE NOTE SAID:i told her i would take a bullet for her....just like she said she would die for me...

Oh, what I meant was, a lot of them seem to be stories that were made up by a child who wanted to imagine a scary story about suicide. Not that they seem like actual accounts of suicide, by some poor devastated child!!! Goodness, I couldn't have explained that MORE POORLY

A lot of the things on "Makes me think" are people obviously just gawking at some tragedy that they are privy to, under the guise of the event being thought-provoking or otherwise moving. I made this thread and lost all motivation to find examples of why the site was stupid.

I certainly make no apologies for ridiculing that MySpace bulletin I posted. If you read that and think "OMG, that would be so sad!!" then I have no idea what to say. Imagine if a guy was driving a car and hit a dog, and when he got out he saw it was HIS DOG!!! Then another car came and hit the guy, who was holding the dog in his arms, and the person driving that car was HIS DAD! AAHHH!!!!

Today in downtown San Diego, I watched a blue collar Mexican man get harassed for being Mexican. It was a blatant act of discrimination. And the man actually began crying. As he left the office building, he took off his jacket. His t-shirt underneath read, "I love the USA!" MMT

I'm honestly starting to believe the stupider the idea for a website, the more successful it stands to be.

Like, the idea isn't stupid, the idea is smart, the site is stupid. Just stupid, anonymous bullshit that hordes of fucking idiots will want to look at.

As opposed to mountains of carefully thought-out, meticulously edited essays that I worked on for 3 weeks each and am trying to be personally recognized for, like a fucking idiot.

I need to make my contempt for people work FOR me, not frustrate me!
