Theldorrin, how did you create that map?

The Italian Empire now controls almost all of the Continental US and classic Gran Colombia. My "colonies" (about a quarter of them are now cities) are pulling in great profits for me. Are you taking advantage of local trade centers? I have 5 merchants in any trade center I trade through or own. Also, I have made sure to build any improvements that add to trade. Fur is very valuable at the moment in my game, and I control about a dozen fur-producing territories, and getting a lot of tariff money from them.

And I've found colonies are also good for taking pressure away from war-mongering neighbors eying my core provinces. France pulled all its armies from my borders as soon as we began racing for colony development.

F12 creates the map in your screenshots folder.

And I think shift-F12 only colours in your own empire.

Yeah, I'm playing my Ferrara game. I have a lot of the Carribbean, since I read that they are more lucrative, and I took the Phillipines, Taiwan and South Africa. They really have started pulling in some more serious money. I guess it's partly a matter of time.

I'm really interested in what will happen next in my game, actually. There are like 7 major powers. France is still strong, but I don't think they've had a European war for over 100 years. Spain and GB, which have huge colonies, the Papal States, which have southern Europe and pretty much the remaining colonies, Austria, which seems to be conquering most of the HRE, and the Golden Horde, which seems like it should transform into Russia or something, since it's that massive.

My Italy just fought a massive war against France, and I managed to conquer about a third of her European territories and most of her American colonies. All France has left in the Americas are a few SA colonies and the Bahamas, and I took Savoie and Switzerland from her, and forced her to give up many of her European possessions. It will take France some time to recover. I'll put up a map when I play again.

I'm purple. The Golden Horde is actually bordering Persia, so some of that brown is for Persia.

After I got the East India Trade Company I noticed that I didn't actually have enough manpower to defend myself, so I took some places in North Africa, and from there I started taking territory from the Ottoman empire.

At least delivering it is easy. Fighting the fifth or sixth Faggot Cave Gohma is a needless torture test. Unless you're trying to fight Faggot Cave Gohma while delivering. Then you get what you deserve!

I'm pretty sure you can't deliver the Dark Ore without going through Faggot Cave Gohma. I tried going the other way and lost too much ore trying to get to Linebeck.
