He left a message for me saying he'd taken a massive overdose of benzos and drank a lot of alcohol with it. I got it about four or five hours after he left it, and I called the number he'd been calling me from, which is apparently his neighbor's phone, and she said she hadn't seen him all day. I called the NPR police and sent them the voicemail he'd left, gave them his information et cetera. A guy called me back a couple of hours ago and said Patrick had thrown himself into traffic earlier this afternoon, on US 19.

He said it wasn't expected to be fatal but that he couldn't tell me much else about it.

His brother will probably call/email me with any updates, so I'll update you guys when I know more.
