One of the reasons I want to start a band is because indie rock as it exists now, even in a fractured, decentralized sense among various communities in North America, is homogeneously catering to a specific lo fi, soft and baroque, or jangly Pavement/Sonic Youth crossover that is so awful and boring, and especially, not rocking at all.

I prefer real instruments, but sometimes synths can be well done. Like the instrumentation in TV shows is pretty decent. Moreso with anime.
