This game is excellent. I decided to fight the optional dragon boss and it crushed me. Guess I'll try again later.

The story and writing is great. It is difficult but in a way where you learn and adjust from your mistakes. You can play as you like, and your decisions will decide how people in your own party and the world see and interact with you. There are six starting classes, and each of the six have their own story.

Its fun.

Also you can have awkward, soft-core sex in matching underwear set to cheesy music.

I'm torn between this and DJ Hero. I mean I have played plenty of games with epic boss battles but the idea of mixing Eminem and Jay-Z songs is really amazing.

I have a hard enough time playing normal difficulty on the 360, I couldn't imagine stepping it up.

I would think that tactics would be a lot less interesting when friendly fire isn't an issue (which it isn't on normal) especially with the insane damage and crowd control of the ice magic area effects.

I think describing this as the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate is fairly accurate. It's darker and the morals aren't as clean-cut. There's no reputation slider and your actions are more defined by how others perceive you rather than a good/evil slider. Which makes it difficult because I'm used to trying to do the right thing to get better items and shit which is the norm in Bioware games, which doesn't seem fly here. I also can't tell if I'm doing the right thing because everyone is an asshole!!!

Combat's fun but a little clunky, the AI makes me want to murder myself sometimes as I keep raping my party with Winter's Grasp. Oh, and the game is hard as shit!!!!
