This isn't that difficult if you listen to a lot of radio and put in some effort. I figured by the time I got them all, everyone who cared had already put as much effort in to it as they were going to.

As for "cheating," the only people who could have helped me were also competing, so it wouldn't have happened. Some of the clips I knew instantly, and others I had to do some searching around on youtube.

For instance, the Good Charlotte clip. I tried to think of as many shitty pop-punk bands as I could. I decided it was either late 90's or early 00's, so I went from there. I looked at Sum41, Simple Plan, and then Good Charlotte was the third.

#50 also involved some challenging research!

This was a good music clips contest, even if it got dominated.

Also, the point of this contest isn't really to reward anyone for their music taste. The whole purpose was to see who has the ability to identify the worst of the worst either through hearing it on the radio, or from being a fan when they were younger!

Oh. The U2 song was used in the end credits for Batman Forever.

When I heard it, I said, "this is used at the end credits of something. Fuck. FU FU FUUUUCK..."

That one was driving me kUrRayyyZeh!

50% of the songs in this contest are played on the two shitty radio stations I have to listen to every day at work, so that worked to my advantage. Everything else I knew from when I was younger. The only songs I got that I had to research were the Fergie song and the My Chemical Romance song. For some reason I decided in my mind that 55 was by Shinedown, even though I couldn't identify any particular Shinedown song in my mind, I just knew that they were a shitty butt rock band that sounds somewhat similar to that clip. So I subjected myself to a little over a dozen of their songs on youtube before I just gave up. I should have dug deeper!

I really only read the last page of this thread and saw that Morgan won and that she did very well, so I went to the first post to see her score and saw "All of them" and I was suddenly overwhelmed with dread as if Raoh was behind me about to crush my head between his index finger and thumb.
