I don't know how I felt about this movie, other than I don't ever plan on seeing it again, which isn't something I'd say about any of the other Terminator movies.
It wasn't bad, but it didn't really FLIP ANY OF MY SWITCHES either. And I don't understand the people who are calling it a horrible, because it's really not horrible.

The cool parts of the movie were (of course) when they fought robots, and not even all of those were cool.
The movie simply had no story at all, and it wasn't really *about* anything. There was nothing compelling about what was happening or going to happen. There was ONE twist, but a twist that I already knew about thanks to the advertising.
I guess they're making a whole trilogy of future war movies, of which this is the first. Yawn. I don't need to see a whole trilogy of this.
The Terminator Future War has to be in the top five of the classic sci-fi things that everybody THINKS they want to see, but the second it's actually realized, it won't be exciting anymore, and there's no way it can be as awesome as you imagined. It's just like the Clone Wars, or the tits of some celebrity or girl you know that you've had a crush on. One of those things better left in a state of QUANTUM SUPERPOSITION, where you can imagine it however you want forever.
I don't think the scenario (people fighting Terminators in post-apocalyptic wasteland) offers enough potential for a whole trilogy. It just sounds in theory like it would. Six hours of that shit is going to spread the concept too thin.
It would, however, have made a much better *SINGLE* movie: beginning with John Connor taking control or whatever and ending with sending everybody back through time, the end.
A trilogy though. Man, who cares?
