I don't like how you get so unmanageably angry when I post rap lyrics. I live in the South, and New Orleans (black) at that, and rap rules everything around me. I hear it without wanting to, and sometimes I want to hear it. And the culture and attitudes and aesthetic qualities expressed in this music shapes who I am whether I like it or not. When I attempt to express this side of me on this forum, you become very angry. You don't like that facet of my personality because you want me to be something you're used to and that you understand, and that isn't fair. You want to reject my status as a Southerner and that isn't fair.

It especially isn't fair because I've always accepted your suburban New Eastern culture in all its infinite blandness. I even laugh at Super Troopers, despite the depressing emptiness of their existence! If the super troopers were all to have run a train on Ursula, then that would have been gangsta, but you wouldn't have liked it.

I can appreciate these things anyway because I'm open minded. You are closed minded and would probably use my appreciation of your culture combined with your rejection of mine to argue that your culture is better. Really, you are just living proof of your own culture's inferiority, with your own tunnel-vision refecting that of New England in general.

When you think about it, it's kind of like laughing at crippled people, which isn't funny by your own admission.
