Anyway, the admins can post under your account because they can bypass using your password at all. They don't actually know what your password is.

Passwords in phpbb, and in any decently designed system, aren't actually available. What is done is they take the text, convert it to a cryptographic hash (ie. a numerical representation of your password from which you can't easily derive the original password) and then store that hash. For the system to determine whether to authenticate as you, it converts the password you input into a cryptographic hash and then compares that to the hash that's stored.

This means that any online service that lets sends you your password to you via email is insecure by design (which is not to be confused with ones that reset your password and send you a new one via email).

Awright, I finally watched men fuck each other. It wasn't amazing, but it was way better than Iron Man and The Dark Knight.

They should have made it more clear that Dr. Manhattan was the only person who actually had superpowers. Had I known that, I would have been more impressed with Rorschach fighting people in jail and biting bullies' ears off. I thought the only reason why he had the balls to do those things was because he had some kind of SUPER STRENGTH (I thought at the very minimum he had SUPER JUMPING).

You're probably thinking, "What difference does it make if a guy is a human being who's good at fighting, instead of a superhuman?" but the story is a lot more engaging to me knowing that Rorschach is in a prison where 50 people want to murder him, and he has to survive by being insane, rather than, "Well whatever, he can just beat the shit out of everybody with his superpowers", which is what I was thinking.

Please don't be Chris about seeing the movie before you read the comic, then thinking that Watchmen is an action story by nature and scratching your insect-infected gorilla noggin with confusion over where the action is in the comic.

Yeah, the whole movie I was trying to figure out what the hell everybody's powers were. I eventually concluded that the author must have been too lazy to give each character a creative super power, so he just made everyone super strong and fast instead.

I imagine that it's much more obvious in the comic that they have no special powers, because you wouldn't see a guy going into Bullet Time to hit someone with a lamp post.
