I'm still convinced that Watchmen was a great movie but a terrible adaptation, if that makes sense. It sure delivered a lot of eye candy for those who hadn't read the comic, like Chris!

Basically all the extreme violence was there to replace the original narrative grittiness of the story. So instead of actually trying to make a dark, compelling film, you just show a bunch of blood and gooks exploding.

I admit I laughed at Dr. Manhattan's victory over the Vietcong.

Yogurtwoman almost walked out, because she's not really down with things like "Adrian's secretary's leg explodes in super-slow motion".

I didn't enjoy this movie but I'm not sure if it's because it was bad or because she was so uncomfortable that it affected me.

Normally I don't mind SUPER VIOLENCE, but it gets boring soon with Watchmen. The Power Rangers fights didn't help either.

My wife did not like the Movie because of the comedian. Thats the last time I take her to one of "my" movies. She also got upset that a lot of little kids were in the theater looking at sex and blue dongs.

Solid Snake should have directed the movie and kept out all the disgusting, integrity-destroying action scenes meant to appeal to Chris Psaros.

The motion comics aren't great because they cut out dialogue that SEEMS to be unimportant when actually all of it is. Also it's just one guy voicing the entire thing which makes it hard to watch without laughing. The only one tolerable is Chapter 4.
