I got the plasma cutter maxed and use it the must I just like the other ones. the line gun I am upgrading now. Kinesis is also very fun.

The ripper and the flamethrower are superior choices for the spider enemies. In general though the default gun is the best weapon.

Running back as fast as possible and sniping them with the plasma cutter is the best method for the spiders.


Impossible game difficulty really clarifies things.
