Reading about ALF is great.

It turns out that the guy who made/performed him was a fucking prick who refused to acknowledge that ALF wasn't an alien, and made life a complete nightmare for everyone who he ever came into contact with with his prima donna shithead attitude about his stupid puppet.

Shooting the TV series was a nightmare for all of the actors on the show, who were at all times seething with anger and frustration, but basically had to hold their tongues, because hey, it was their jobs on the line. The guy made the show not only technically demanding and extremely tedious, but was a dickhead about intentionally flubbing lines or improvising "funny" shit and having to do retakes, making everything even harder and worse than it already was.

My dream is to be that man.
