The tutorial levels of Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI are fucking ridiculous.

Liu Bei: duh im stupid
Guan Yu: shut up fag

This is quite a stretch, even for a mode that's supposed to teach you how to play!

Well, thus far I have to say I like that they have a mode to teach you the ropes of such a ridiculously complex game, although the 8-bit and 16-bit ones were a lot more confusing with their menus.

I think I'll be playing this for a while.

I just beat the third tutorial where you are taught how to do combat, and I won despite being mauled in the opening volley from the enemy. And I have no idea how I pulled this off.

This game is very very enjoyable, but learning to use the traps and military facilities sure is confusing as all fuck.

I would say Romance of the three kingdoms is an overrated koei game, except all koei games suck and so do people who like them

Ok, Nobunaga's ambition was decent, but so what? Actually it wasnt because about 6 hours in to the game you dont really like it anymore

How a game that is hardly known (as far as I can tell) is overrated? For a game to be really overrated, there'd have to be a bunch of retards overhyping it and placing it in a high pedestal of gaming for no real reason, other than "just because". Hell. Romance of the Three Kingdoms has to be one of the less newbie-friendly and slow-paced games out there, thus making it incredibly unpopular for most. It's going to sodomize you plenty, and only the APT and WORTHY will continue playing! If you want overrated games, I'm pretty sure there a dozen better examples than this, sorry.

Onimusha and Dynasty Warriors are very different games, though I like them both. Onimusha 3 and Dynasty Warriors 5 have to be some of the most entertaining action games I've played.

I think the apex of the Onimusha series happened when Jean Reno mercilessly destroyed Ranmaru Mori. Twice.
