Sometimes it seems like they are using the musical arrangements from Celtic Moon, which is fine by me.

The story is more developed, so far in the six or seven hours that I've played. Though the dialogue tries too hard at times. They kept "spoony bard", which I guess would be impossible to remove now.

But I only just got to Troia, so I have some ways to go before there are any new dungeons. If there are any new dungeons.

They've changed Namingway, who is now a rabbit and has given up trying to rename your characters. He has a different name and job each time you meet him. Rydia has a new summons which you can customize and level-up in minigames (through the Fat Chocobo). And you can add new abilities to your characters. I gave Paladin Cecil a physical counter ability, which is great especially when he's covering hurt characters.

I actually died a few times!

I got screwed in the Rydia-returns Golbez fight where I couldn't get anyone to come back to life long enough to do anything.

Also it took me two times to figure out how to defeat Barbariccia, which should be unacceptable since I've probably spent more time playing FF2/4 than any other game.

But then again, they did increase the difficulty and changed around the boss battles to make them more difficult.

Yeah, I had to start grinding as early as before the cave you meet Tellah in. However, exploring the maps to 100% will get you into enough random fights that grinding hasn't come up again.

God, I thought if I stayed within the Seru realm it would be fine.

I don't choose personal pictures willy-nilly, Yogurtman. This selection passed the gamut of being (in color) and (not a black-and-white but totally badass manga panel) and it can't be tampered with!
