A while back I noticed in games it seemed like my scroll down function was stuck. In WoW the mouse wheel zooms out and even if I tried to zoom in it would very quickly be zooming out. Also while holding shift it would rapidly move my bars around. Also in Firefox it scrolls to the bottom of the page very quickly out of control.

Yesterday I reloaded my computer except for my D and E drive which is pretty much just storage.

It is still doing it. I tried unplugging my G15 and used my Microsoft ergonomic keyboard and it does it a little bit less. I also had no peripherals plugged into my computer and it would still scroll down over time. No I went and unistalled all my applications for my mouse and keyboard and I haven't restarted but it is still doing it.

in counter strike it scrolls though my weapons like crazy also

If you reinstalled Windows, and changed your keyboard, and your mouse, and it was still doing it under the new configuration, then I can't imagine what it would be.

I've never encountered this problem, but I use Windows XP.

I also use Windows XP, and it sounds like John buis needs to take his mouse apart and blow all over it.

In Logitech's software, change the behavior of the scroll wheel to type the letter Z or something so you can be sure that's what's happening. Then, after that, fuck, did this really happen with two different mice?

Did the mouse/keyboard come with one of those installer discs? Maybe the website of the company has drivers you can download to fix it or something.

with my g15 plugged in the scrolling was very rapid but even with no periphials plugged in the scrolling would still periodically occur.

I would leave a long webpage open and it would randomly scroll down. I am not sure how random I would leave the room and it would do it.

i forgot I had an n52 speedpad plugged in. I unplugged it I can only hope that is the solution

I had that problem, too. I think it was my Wacom tablet.
